Responding to the 2022 Hurricane Season with Sasser Restoration

In 2021, there were twenty-one named storms with winds of thirty-nine miles per hour or greater, including 7 hurricanes with winds seventy-four miles per hour or greater, and of those, four were major hurricanes with winds of one hundred eleven miles per hour or greater (Source: Forbes).

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this was the third most active year on record in terms of named storms and the sixth consecutive above-normal Atlantic hurricane season. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Climate Prediction Center’s Atlantic Hurricane Season forecast, there is a 65% chance that the 2022 hurricane season will be above-average.
