Meet Jason Hayes, Lead Estimator at Sasser Restoration

At Sasser Restoration, it is our people who make us who we are. Our people are invaluable and each one brings something different to the table. It is through many different walks of life, through many years of experience, and through many passions that the Sasser team is able to come together and deliver responsiveness, service and quality to our clients. 

One member of the Sasser Restoration team who continues to deliver responsiveness, service and quality is Jason Hayes. 

Jason joined the Sasser Restoration team in 2012 and has served as a Lead Estimator ever since. Prior to joining the Sasser Restoration team, he had worked for different general contractors but decided to come to Sasser based on a recommendation from a friend. 

In the restoration industry, you never know what a day on the job will bring. For Jason, a typical day in his life as an estimator includes meeting with clients and their insurance adjuster to prepare estimates for repairs and damage to the client’s home. 

“I write estimates for repairs and work hand-in-hand with subcontractors and vendors to provide samples for finishes and get the client’s house put back together,” he said. “What I enjoy most about my job is that it is never the same. I am constantly dealing with different people and getting to meet people through all aspects of life.”

As an adjuster at Sasser Restoration, Jason is working with property owners who have just been through a catastrophic disaster and in many cases, have lost everything they’ve ever known. 

“I’m not just an estimator when I’m on the job, I’m also someone for our clients to talk to and I’m here to help them try and get through this,” he said. “I believe it’s important to be personable and be able to talk to people to gain their trust. They’re putting their entire life in your hands and there has to be a certain level of trust they have with you.”
